Example Bill: Advance Plan to Flat Rate Plan

Scenario:
- Joe Bloggs is on the Advance50 Plan.
- His billing period is the 10th of each month to the 9th of the following month.
- Joe has already paid his $35 Advance charge for the month from 10th May to 9th June.
- He connects for 20 sessions for a total of 50.15 hrs, (50 hours and 9 minutes). During this time he changes to the Flat Rate Plan.
- The bill shows a Time Credit for the 50 hours he has paid for in advance, ($125.00). There is also a Disconnect of Advance access charge which is a credit for the remainder of the month as Joe will now be billed under the Flat Rate Plan.
- Because Joe has changed to the Flat Rate Plan within his billing period he has been charged a partial Flat Rate access charge for the remainder of the month and then the full Flat Rate access charge for the following month.
NB: Some customer's pro-rated credit may appear on the Telecom bill. If your bill format does not appear in the above example, click here.
